I should really just start shipping BirdFlash because it’s obviously the better pairing. Spitifre had horrible writing and it doesn’t exist in the comics so there’s no reason to like it. I really only liked Artemis because of her snarky attitude and her blonde hair. Way for me to be biased. Plus BirdFlash has an awesome dynamic backed up by tons of comic evidence that must be interpreted as something more than friendship. No there’s no way two people can be really close friends especially if one of them has always been straight. No they must be in love with each other. So yeah I ship BirdFlash now because it’ll just make everyone happier and then I’ll be happier because I won’t care about people hating on Spitfire just because it’s canon and it gets in the way of the best pairing in the world.
